The Heart of Writing

Helping you to connect with the writer within

Welcome Storytellers

For those of you who have attended The Heart of Writing workshops will know that I have been planning to expand on sharing fun and inspiring exercises and prompts online so here we are, The Heart of Writing blog!

And for those of you who haven’t had a chance to meet us at a workshop, The Heart of Writing is dedicated to purely helping writers of all levels of experience to find their voice, gain confidence, get inspired and grow in their creative expression. For more information about our workshops, check out The Heart of Writing Meetup

On this blog I will be posting exercises for you to try on your own, prompts, writing therapy techniques, sources to help with research and ideas and anything related to the process of writing so that you have access  to inspiration even if you are not able to attend a workshop – but we’d still love to see you there!

I would also love for you to get involved. I’ll be posting up stories/prose/poems written by you every Friday so if you’d like to have your piece read here then visit the Submissions page.

Happy Writing!
